thankfulviolet I love listening to this album from (entrance) to (exit)! Each song feels like a different part of a longer story, moving through a range of different emotions and obstacles. It was difficult to choose a favourite song because I love the flow of the entire album best. Favorite track: Mid-May feat. Liyv.

Raised by all the wolves I know Feeding with them all from young I’ve Fallen over tools I own Teething till it’s all undone I’m Raising all the walls right now 'Cause I cement the truth you’re told I Scatter all the seeds I sow A thorn in either hand it’s king size They said find another way Find another place Find another way Find a road to grace Hit it off Top down You gotta hit it off Your crown Look rest I pray Protect my mind I think my head will roll You’ve seen my Father’s They said find another way Find another place Find another way Find a road to grace Hit it off Top down You gotta hit it off Your crown Five lights shine through my chest Loose ties around my neck Earthbound and still depressed Can’t cry so just say less Bloodhounds won't raise the dead You’re left with all this mess Two chains hang down my vest So proud still kiss the crest Foot down my face turned red Uncrowned my upset head You saw me fall and said Kings never know what’s best

Wrapped in frailty You've been holding skillfully Though I throw myself into you You remain far from me If you only start I will meet you there If you hold that pose I know We fall out too well We let go, hold We pose well and stay alone All this lost time Every move a lie Holding still to find You've been left behind We fight to pose Always gracefully Even still alone All the same Always gracefully Even still lonely Could you only open up Even only reach for me You've been all alone All along Break your pose now Give me something that I can hold somehow Would you open up and pull me in now Would you open up and pull me into you Full with frailty I cannot remember How you reached for me shakily You remain a memory

Cut your cloth Gird ya loins To the bassline of melancholy Barking dogs seldom bite but the black one Without the brow in tandem Nor married to the marrow ABsense makes the heart groan longer Varicose sight Domiciled in the weather The resolute slog throws sand in your eyes Cant it go a day without reign Clarity on favours the half-blind man Who’s sleeping hounds lie THROWN TO THE DOGS EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG You can’t see the dogs when you’re blinded You know they’re there though You can smell them when you sleep Insomniacs cologne It’s just the old black dog my son Eaten off the bone They might charm you But barking dogs seldom bite

about

Years before the tenure of ice, a traveler sought out a King. For it was believed only he had the power to relieve their sickness, and that too of their family. The traveler was just a child, but their spirit and shrewdness were far beyond their years.

There were many tales of the King’s residence. Some said there was a great palace of beaming lights and spectacle, to the east of the Mill region. Others claimed his rule had been long defeated, with the King exiled in the tundric caves of Whitebrooke’s End - with nothing for company but a sled and six fine dogs. Of greater importance, however, the solace that the traveler might find in their quest. A morsel of distraction and purpose found in their existence.

Setting off across the expanse, the vastness seemed perilous and vacant. No direction. No voice from the wind. The traveler had no choice but to trust intuition and learn divinity from within. A storm was brewing in them, while a soft, but prophetic wind snagged at their shoes. They thought of their father. Their thoughts were fond but were spared few in comparison to those of their stoic Mother. Their father at their feet, they set forth - with every step daring themself to glimpse into the uncertainty of their journey.
